Wafaa Al Mohsenin has concluded its 1447 AH Qurbani campaign after a season of giving that reached vulnerable families across Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Sudan, Türkiye, and Egypt, where the project also supported displaced people from Gaza currently stranded there.
Throughout the Eid season, Qurbani meat was distributed to thousands of displaced families struggling to meet their basic needs. The project was carried out in accordance with religious guidelines and local distribution plans, ensuring that support reached communities where it was needed most.
For many families, these distributions brought not only food to the table but also a sense of dignity and joy during Eid al-Adha, a time that can be especially difficult for those living through conflict, displacement, or poverty.
The organization expressed its gratitude to donors and supporters whose generosity made this year’s campaign possible, reaching thousands of families across multiple countries.
While distributions have been completed in all participating locations, preparations are still underway to deliver frozen and canned meat designated for families in Gaza, where access remains constrained due to ongoing humanitarian and logistical challenges.
Wafaa Al-Mohsenin continues to coordinate with relevant partners to facilitate delivery as soon as conditions allow, prioritizing families facing acute food insecurity.
As the campaign concludes, the organization acknowledges the collective impact made possible through this support and reaffirms its commitment to stand with vulnerable communities wherever needs remain urgent.
