Wafaa Al-Mohsenin organized a series of community iftars for orphans and their families in the Gaza Strip, during which financial sponsorships covering January and February 2026 were distributed. The initiative was made possible through the generous support of donors from the Sultanate of Oman.
Comprehensive Care Amid Crisis The organization explained that these gatherings are part of a broader care program supporting around 1,000 orphans and dozens of vulnerable families. Due to the current field conditions and the difficulty of holding large gatherings, the distributions were carried out in successive groups to ensure everyone could receive their support safely.
More Than Financial Support Beyond the financial assistance, the events included recreational activities, games, and songs for
the children, creating moments of joy and offering much-needed psychological support for orphans living through extremely difficult humanitarian circumstances.
Commitment Despite Challenges Wafaa Al-Mohsenin continues to make every effort to overcome the challenges affecting the regular provision of sponsorships. The organization emphasized its humanitarian and moral commitment to supporting vulnerable families and ensuring they have the essentials for a dignified life, while calling on generous donors to continue supporting orphan sponsorship programs to sustain these vital efforts.
