Extending Water Network to Serve 10,000 Displaced People in Gaza

As part of its ongoing efforts to provide essential services to displaced communities in the Gaza Strip, Wafaa Al-Mohsenin has launched a major water network project in the Al-Qarara Al-Mawasi area, bringing reliable access to clean water for around 10,000 displaced people living in nearby camps.

Fully funded by Wafa Al-Mohsenin at a total cost of $100,000, the project includes installing a 4,000-meter transmission line with pipe sizes of 4, 3, and 1.5 inches. The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility is carrying out the implementation work in coordination with the Al-Qarara Municipality.

By bringing clean water directly to the tents, the project will put an end to the daily struggle of thousands of families who had to walk long distances every day to carry water back to their shelters. This effort will significantly improve daily living conditions in the camps, especially given the severe shortage of water and the growing pressure on basic resources.

This project is part of a series of humanitarian initiatives led by Wafa Al-Muhsinin to secure vital services in displacement areas, responding to urgent needs and bringing relief to affected families.
