As part of its ongoing Ramadan initiatives in the Gaza Strip, Wafaa al-Mohsenin Foundation has implemented the “Vegetable Basket” project for families living in displacement camps, following the successful completion of its food parcel distribution.
This project comes amidst dire living conditions, where thousands of families face limited resources, skyrocketing food costs, and a complete lack of employment opportunities.
Distribution of vegetable basket played a vital role in enhancing food security for the beneficiary families, easing their financial burdens while providing fresh produce—an essential component of daily meals during the holy month.
This initiative is a core part of the Foundation’s integrated Ramadan plan, which includes daily Iftar meals, bread distribution, water trucking to displacement areas, and various nutritional support programs. These efforts are part of an unwavering commitment to reach as many families in need as possible throughout this blessed month.
